Mr. Ludera has over 25 years experience in consulting, training and organizational development. He has held managerial and executive positions with Waste Management and Tribune Company before assuming his current responsibilities. Mr. Ludera is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and holds the rank of Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve.
Mr. Ludera is versed in all elements of training and development. He has managed groups responsible for training; course design; distance learning; program development; succession planning and other activities falling within the domain of human factors. He has developed consulting relationships with senior executives throughout his career. He has provided policy and operational level advice as well as functioning as an executive coach on both personal and business matters.
Mr. Ludera created a "Leadership Transition Program." The program is based on Organizational Engineering technology. It is designed to insure a rapid and smooth operational transition as the firm's terminal executives are rotated. The program has reduced the transition time from 4 months to 3 weeks.
In addition to his responsibilities at USF Holland, Mr. Ludera is the Assistant Division Commander for the 85th Division in the Army Reserve. In this capacity, he is responsible for all training and operations for over three thousand soldiers. He also provides training support for five hundred customer organizations in an eight-state area. He manages a budget in excess of $10 million and has a staff of sixty-five.
