BenchStrength Development was launched in early 2002 to capitalize on Mr. Rardin’s 30-year background in leadership and organizational development. The firm capitalizes on this background by specializing in organizational and leadership design and development. The current client base includes longer-term agreements with multiple industrial firms. Other clients are drawn from a variety of economic sectors.

Prior to launching his own firm, Mr. Rardin held a variety of professional and executive positions in the industrial, telecommunications and engergy sectors. He has also held executive positions in non-profit associations and and has taught in the public school system.
Mr. Rardin's professional focus has heavily centered on integrating leadership with organizational design. He has designed a variety of tools, processes and methods that align strategy with leadership and organizational assets. The targeted result is a firm that can count its processes and structure as a sustained competitive advantage.
In addition to maintaining his professional activities, Mr. Rardin has published on the subject of leadership including the book The Servant’s Guide to Leadership (Selah Press, 2001). He has also been a featured speaker at the Human Resource Professional Society and Linkage conferences. His topics have included cultural change, leadership, executive coaching and organizational effectiveness.
